1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using A2Z PDF (“the Service”), located at a2zpdf.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

A2Z PDF provides browser-native tools for PDF document manipulation, including but not limited to merging, splitting, compressing, watermarking, signing, converting, organizing, protecting, and unlocking PDF files. By using our website, you acknowledge that all processing is done locally within your browser using your device's computing resources. A2Z PDF does not provide hosting, cloud storage, or long-term storage for any documents processed through our tools.

3. User Responsibilities

By using A2Z PDF, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal right to possess and modify any documents you process using our tools
• You will not use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own device and browser
• You understand that since processing is local, you are responsible for saving your output files before closing your browser

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use A2Z PDF to:

• Process documents that you do not have the legal right to possess, view, or modify
• Forge, alter, or fabricate documents for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive purposes
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code through PDF files
• Use automated scripts, crawlers, bots, or scraping tools to access our tools
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our proprietary client-side processing logic
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks connected to it
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality, is and will remain the exclusive property of A2Z PDF and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of A2Z PDF.

You retain all rights to the documents you process using our tools. A2Z PDF claims no ownership, license, or interest in any of your content. Since your files never leave your device, we have no access to your content and cannot claim any rights to it.

6. No Liability for Data Loss

Because A2Z PDF processes files locally within your browser and does not upload them to any backup or cloud server, any failure in your browser, operating system, or hardware during a task could result in the loss of unsaved progress. We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, incomplete processing, or technical failures occurring during or as a result of using our tools. We strongly recommend keeping copies of your original files before processing them.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. A2Z PDF does not warrant that: (a) the Service will function uninterrupted, securely, or error-free; (b) the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable; or (c) the quality of the Service will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall A2Z PDF, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless A2Z PDF and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
